If a picture paints a thousand words, then these photos of old Hong Kong may paint a whole era – an era into which the fibres of the lives of many Hong Kongers were interwoven to leave behind a vibrant fabric of legacy. That era will always tug at my heartstrings. As words fail me, I’ll leave you to enjoy the photos. The streetscapes in the following links were those of Hong Kong Island in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. The photos are in random order and the captions are in Chinese. http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=1017 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=1032 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=1077 Here are more photos (some show old Kowloon and N.T. places and scenes):- http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=1277 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=1320 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=1389 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/ekwleung/article?mid=2127 Comments

To share readings and thoughts on current events, land use and

and other incoherent thoughts.

A district or a country has no chance in future if politics >>>> economy.
and that is what democracy is great about, it allows all kinds of people like you stir the pots, as solving problems is not important, being "right" is far more important.
BTW, google "God bless America, a nation of cowards"
