What is clearly evident in the discovery of these new Chinese naval bases and the unfettered advances made by China in projecting its naval and military might is the lack of will, strength and economic power of any of the Western nations that complain too loudly about China's growing military might.
There is a lot of sabre rattling and creative reporting on the West's (read the US and Quad's) economic and military power. In truth the more they yell and scream, then less they do in practice. China poweers on. Its economy not in straits as the West would havee us believe. Their military power and their strateegies both economic and military is not understood by the West who tend to look at the world through a narrow Western only prism.
