Robots don't buy stuff, nor need much in the way of services. Unless they create self-aware humanoids that consume and pay taxes- and I don't put it past the CCP to try to do so LOL.
Hm. Replacing human workers with robots and automation... so where are Chinese citizens going to earn money doing what kind of jobs in what level of quantity left available to spend on buying goods and services for survival in China, let alone a good stable middle-class lifestyle?
China growing rich before growing old isn't as positive a thing as is portrayed here, even if it might have some merit. Wealth inequality is still ridiculous in China not just between the different classes but also between different regions/cities. More wealth but the same level of inequality (or worse) will be a far worse socioeconomic political minefield for the CCP to navigate.
Informative article, which is counter to the traditional western narrative, or could it be dogma, only time will tell. China has defied expectations over and over, and should not be underestimated. I attended the Beijing Auto Show in May, it was a dazzling display of industrial prowess.

a wee light on technical analysis, for my taste.
