Wherein lies the impropriety? Who is unhappy with the situation? A particular race segment in Singapore?

No impropriety found! Funny that. And just because family dynastical head-honcho ofvthe one-party state of Singapore said so. It smacks of rank hypocrisy. When critics of the dictatorhip open up, Singapore’s notorious Special Branch works overtime to hound the culprits, drag them screaming to court and the judge summarily and routinely hands fown a guilty verdict. And even bankrupts them. Standard Operating Procedure.

But when it involves Lee’s henchmen, it conducts an internal “inquiry”, and, ipso facto, they are found innocent. Of course. It’s an inquiry similar to an internal investigation the security forces and the police undertake of one of their own duly — dutifully — find they have no case to answer. Ho hum.

But, as many people know, including the usually meek, subservient and servile Singaporeans, where there is dmoke there might well be fire. That said, somehow, these sorrs of fire are just so impossible in squeaky-clean Singapore.
